Where is a capsule summary of how to play this game?

If I replace a person on my roster, does that person get replaced on my teams?

No! Your rosters are just a tool for selecting team members. Once you have entered a player as a team member, they will not be changed unless you go back and update that team. So feel free to change your roster at any time. Doing so will not change any of your prior team selections.

Why is a certain player not available?

This is a temporary limitation for the initial rollout version of the game. While there are 15,000 players in our list of known players, we will certainly miss a few late registrants. While we plan to add a real time player look up function, that is not fully implemented yet. In the meantime we scan the FTOPS IX preregistration lists periodically to pull in new names. Hopefully that will give you enough names to choose from.

Can I drop out of a game?

You can unjoin a contest up until the time where it's first tournament starts. After that, unjoining is not allowed. (We may change that cutoff time for unjoining in the future.)

Can I join a contest that has already started?

Yes, provided that the contest has not already reached it's maximum number of players. Of course if you join late you will earn no points for tournaments that you have missed, but in some contests this will not hurt your chances to win a prize all that much.

Do you accept questions or comments about your website?

Yes indeed! In fact we will be upgrading selected players to Silver status for a month if they give us particularly useful feedback. (Silver players get access to our database and also get to sign up in additional freerolls with bigger prizes!)
