Overview

Each contest that you enter has a list of poker tournaments associated with it. You select a team of players for each tournament. You can use the same team or different team for different tournaments as you wish. Your overall score for the contest depends on how well the players from your team perform in their respective tournaments.

The deadline for when you have to submit your team depends on the start time for the tournament as well as your membership level. (Silver and Gold Members have a little more time to complete their teams.) Typically you will want to submit your teams well ahead of time of the start time for a given tournament to ensure that your picks are locked in in time.

The posted scoreboards indicate how well the teams that you and others selected have done in the tournaments that have concluded. Once all the poker tournaments in a contest are completed, then the prizes for the best scores are awarded.

Rosters

Rosters are your master list of players that you use for selecting your teams. You can add or drop players from your roster at any time and as much as you want. Doing so will never affect your scores, your previously submitted teams or your overall results. You get to keep at least 3 nine person rosters. (Silver and Gold members get more rosters.) There is no requirement that you keep your rosters full.

Gameplay Details

You can change your submitted team as much as you like up to the cutoff time for the tournament. (Just make sure that you use the "Update Team" button after all of your changes are entered.) For Bronze Members, the cutoff time is 20 minutes before the start of the event. For Silver Members the cutoff time is two minutes after the scheduled start time for the event. For Gold Members the cutoff time is 20 minutes after the scheduled tournament start time.

You can request optional notification via email or private message for a number of different occurances. These include:

• If a deadline is approaching and you have not submitted a team;
• When new results for a poker tournament have been entered into our database;
• When prizes for one of your contests have been awarded;
• When new contests are announced.

Email notifications are not implemented yet.

Winners get cash prizes credited to their accounts. You can withdraw this cash or use it to enter future contests and/or upgrade or extend your membership. (There is a $25 minimum for account withdrawals.)
